Project Title:Design of Novel Luminescent Materials for White Light Emitting Device applications
Budget Sanctioned: Rs. 2,00,000.
Sanctioned by: Acharya Nagarjuna University

1. Evaluation of insulating character of glass materials by means of dielectric studies and the structural evaluation of the glass materials
2. IR, Raman, ESR, optical absorption spectra and magnetic susceptibility studies of glass systems doped with different transition metal ions and to probe the local structure of the dopants
3. Luminescence spectra of glass materials doped with transition metal ions and rare earth ions and to evaluate transition probabilities, emission cross section etc.,
4. I have got experience in synthesizing and characterizing variety of Inorganic glass systems viz., phosphate, arsenate, borate etc. and acquainted well with the characterization of the materials by XRD, SEM, DTA/DSC techniques.
